FAQ

What is the price range at Birdie Bridal?
Our dresses start at $499 and go up to $1999. Most dresses are within $1200.
Are alterations included in the dress price?
No, but we do have an in-house seamstress that is both affordable and fast. She is available by appointment on Tuesdays. Book an appointment with her by emailing info@BirdieBridal.com
What makes Birdie’s dresses different?
We specialize in finding high end designers that haven’t quite made it “mainstream” yet. It is important to us at Birdie that every bride feels that her dress is unique. We carry many dresses that no other boutique in Texas carries.
Where can I view your inventory?
Take a look at our dresses on our website in the Gallery tab. You can also view our dresses through social media where we regularly post new inventory and keep all our brides up to date with the latest at Birdie Bridal. Look us up on Facebook (Birdie Bridal) or Instagram (@birdiebridalfw).
What sizes do your dresses come in?
We carry a wide variety of sizes in store, anywhere from 0-20. Most of our dresses are available to order in sizes 0-28.
When should I arrive for my appointment?
We ask that you and your entourage arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment. We are a small boutique that focuses on intimate and exclusive appointments for all our brides.
What should I wear in my appointment?
Nude colored undergarments make for the best try-on experience. Wear a strapless bra if you have one and bring shape ware if you plan on wearing it. We also provide shape ware in-store if you forget yours or decide you want to wear it once we start the try-on process.
How do appointments work at Birdie Bridal?
We are open by appointment only. You are greeted with a mimosa and personal stylist once you arrive. The most appointments we will have running at the same time is two. At Birdie we like to make every appointment intimate and exclusive so the bride and her entourage have the appointment seating area to themselves with the full attention of our stylists to help assist the bride during her shopping experience.
When should I start wedding dress shopping?
We suggest starting a year in advance. Wedding dresses take anywhere from 4 to 6 months to come in so the earlier you start the better. This gives you plenty of time for shipping and alterations.
When should I start alterations?
Give yourself 6 weeks for alterations from either the date of your bridals or your wedding date if you’re not taking bridals.
I plan on losing weight before my wedding, what size dress should I order?
We always take your measurements at the end of your appointment and order your dress based off those measurements. Dresses can be taken in two full sizes  without losing the structure of the dress.
